Daily streamflow data from gauge stations on main rivers of Scotland (1947-2017)

Data on daily flow of water from main rivers in Scotland and spatial locations of the stations where the data are captured are presented.

These data for several years (1947 to 2017) were downloaded from National River Flow Archive of CEH website and processed:

http://nrfa.ceh.ac.uk/data/search

The daily flow data for each station and their mean annual and other values are in MS Excel format in a compressed file whilst the stations’ spatial locations files are of ESRI shapefile format and also in a separate compressed file. The locations of the stations are in addition presented in a Web Map Service (WMS) which can be used to viewed these locations.
