Hutton’s monitoring of Phytophthora incidence and diversity from natural ecosystems 2016-2018

The James Hutton Institute has been testing novel DNA barcoding methods to monitor the incidence and diversity of Phytophthora species and related plant pathogens in natural ecosystems. This has involved testing filtered water samples in a time-series of samples from locations in the Invergowrie Burn catchment plus sites in the Environmental Change Network (ECN).
